You will likely be aware that Spotlight has recently announced a new tiered membership.
Since this announcement, many Equity members have reached out to us frustrated at the decision. This is a frustration we share.
We recommend that no Equity member takes out Spotlight ‘Premier membership’ until such time as Equity has a better understanding of the reasons for the change, as well as its full implications.
Our Council will be discussing this issue, as well as casting policy and the results of our recent casting services survey, this November.
