Equity Summer Opera Festivals Open Meeting

How can performers and stage management secure better pay and working conditions when working on summer opera festivals?

Join us in-person or online to connect with other opera festival workers from across the UK, explore the challenges we face in the workplace, and discuss how, together, we can improve our working lives.

You’ll also hear from Equity activists and staff members about what we’re already doing to tackle bad practice in these areas.

This is a hybrid meeting, which you can join in person in London or via Zoom. Refreshments will be provided for those joining in person, as well as a drinks reception after the meeting to continue the conversation and network with your peers.

This initial meeting is open to Equity members and non-members, so come along to find out more about what Equity is, what we do for workers across all areas of opera, and how you can get involved in your union.
